The women in the foundation's agricultural program participated in an enriching cooking workshop led by chef Amalia Moreno Baumgard, who shared valuable lessons on how to efficiently and creatively use vegetables produced in their own communities.

During the activity, participants learned how to make the most of each ingredient, discovering ways to transform vegetables into nutritious and varied dishes. The workshop emphasized the importance of making the most of what the earth provides, reducing waste, and promoting healthier and more accessible food.

In addition to improving food quality, these practices help make food more productive, more nutritious, and strengthen food security for families. Each recipe and technique shared becomes a powerful tool for women to not only better nourish their households, but also to inspire their communities around the value of local agricultural production.

This workshop reaffirms that cooking consciously is also a way of caring for our health, well-being, and the traditions that connect us to the earth.
